We hope you all have enjoyed the summer with vacation time, visiting with friends and family or just relaxing at home.  Our last meeting before the summer break was May 13th.  We did have our school supply collection for Manatee Elementary School during the month of July.  Thank you to everyone who helped with the project, the staff was amazed at the amount of supplies we brought.

We have had our Long Range Planning meeting with a potluck breakfast in August and our Budget Planning in September.  This will be presented at our next meeting on October 14th at 5:30pm.  All FLC ladies are invited to our meeting!

We are looking forward to a busy Fall with many opportunities to serve the Lord by serving our Faith Family.

The Pastor Appreciation Sunday will be October 19th.  We will be serving light appetizers, cake and beverages in the Fellowship Hall at 12noon.  Please help us show our gratitude and appreciation to Pastor Treglown, Pastor Hildebrandt and Pastor Duncan.  Our congregation is truly blessed!

On Sunday, October 26th, we will celebrate the Reformation by having a Joint Reformation Service at Faith at 4:00 pm.  Faith will host a potluck supper which will include casseroles, salads (jello and/or greens) and desserts.  We will supply rolls, relishes and beverages.  We will have signup sheets available for attending the supper and to provide a dish to pass if you wish.  There will be additional information as we are closer to this event. 

The WOF will have their annual Fall Bazaar on Saturday November 1st including — homemade Crafts, a Bake Sale and Lunch for hungry shoppers.  We thank you ahead of time for your support as the proceeds benefit our mission projects.

The LWML Fall Rally will be on November 8th at St. Michaels Church in Fort Myers.

A special THANK YOU for your support of the Sunday Mites collection. Over the past 11 months we have been able to send $1962.54 to our Fla/Ga District.  This will help fulfill grant requests which can be found in the LWML Quarterly on our display table.
