Women of Faith – May 2026
What a wonderfully blessed Easter season we have shared together! One of the highlights was the beautiful Easter breakfast, graciously hosted by Women of Faith members Pam Di Sarro and Jan Nurenberg. With 145 attendees, the morning was filled with joyful fellowship, delicious food, and a warm sense of community.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed, whether by setting up, bringing dishes, serving in the kitchen, or helping with cleanup. Your time and effort made this event truly special.
Our WOF Historian, Shirley Neumann, shared how much she enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and fellowship, so much so that she forgot to take photos! If you happened to capture any pictures from the breakfast, Easter services, or the altar, please consider sharing them with her at .
As we look ahead to summer, Women of Faith has selected Golden Gate Elementary as this year’s mission focus for collecting school supplies. We will gather requested supply lists soon and plan to begin collecting items in July.
Please also mark your calendars for the LWML Fall Rally, which will be hosted here at Faith Lutheran Church on October 17, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. More details will be shared as the date approaches.
All women who are members of Faith Lutheran Church are part of Women of Faith, and we warmly welcome new participants at any time. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Discipleship Room. Our final meeting for this season will take place on May 12, after which we will pause for the summer. We will reconvene on August 29, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. for our Annual Long Range Planning Meeting and breakfast.
We hope to see our group continue to grow, so much so that we outgrow the Discipleship Room! In addition to monthly meetings, there are many other opportunities to get involved and serve through WOF.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We would love for you to join us as we gather for fellowship, service, and encouragement in Christ.
In Christ’s love,
Krystle Atkins
President, Women of Faith
