Women of Faith March 2026

03.01.26 | Women of Faith | by Krystle Adkins

The Women of Faith have had a joyful and productive start to the new year!

At the end of January, our LWML Muffins for Mites weekend was a tremendous success. We are deeply grateful to the many volunteers who generously shared their time, talents, and delicious muffins to make this event possible. Thanks to the incredible support of our church family, nearly $900 was raised for LWML Mites, supporting mission projects and outreach efforts near and far. What a blessing to see God working through His people!

Our Women of Faith “Itchin’ to Stitch” committee has also been busy serving others in Christ’s name. They recently donated 9 quilts, 13 youth blankets, 50 layette set bundles, and 40 backpacks filled with school supplies. In addition, from February 2025 to February 2026, this dedicated group lovingly created and sent more than 200 little dresses to Lutheran Orphan Grain Train. We thank God for the faithful hands and hearts behind this meaningful ministry.

We also started in February, “the month often associated with love,” by celebrating God’s Agape love at our Women’s Retreat. It was a beautiful time of fellowship, reflection, and encouragement. We look forward to sharing more about this special event in next month’s Voice.

We welcome the month of March with our Women’s Spring Tea on Saturday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. If you plan to attend or would like to bring a dish to share, please sign up on the Sign-Up Board in the hallway outside the Discipleship Room. This beautiful new space now houses all special event sign-ups, so we invite you to stop by and explore it.

During the Spring Tea weekend, our “Cravin’ to Craft” committee will be offering their beautiful spring crafts for purchase. Items will be available during the tea and before and after all services that weekend. They will also have a variety of homemade treats—including cookies, brownies, and more—for sale. We invite you to stop by the area outside the Fellowship Hall to find something special for yourself or a loved one.

The Cravin’ to Craft team is also welcoming donations of baked goods for this event. Simple, homemade treats such as cookies and brownies are greatly appreciated. Donations may be dropped off on Friday, March 6, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., or before 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 7. If you have any questions, please contact Ricki Bond or Shirley Neumann.

As always, all women who are members of Faith Lutheran Church are members of Women of Faith. We warmly welcome new participants at any time. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Discipleship Room. Our next meeting will be April 14 at 5:30 p.m. We would love to have you join us as we gather for fellowship, service, and encouragement in Christ.

    In Christ’s love,
Krystle Atkins, President, Women of Faith
