Lambs of Faith Preschool

Jesus talks about Himself as the “Lamb of God”. This shows us that He understood that He would be the ultimate sacrifice for humanity’s sins. The Old Testament “Passover Lamb” in Exodus, reminds us of the lamb that was sacrificed to protect the Israelites from death. When John the Baptist called Jesus (John 1:29) “The Lamb of God” it was a reminder that Jesus would be the sinless sacrifice who would atone for the entire world’s sins.
You can see the image of the Lamb, Good Shepherd, and Lost Lamb throughout the New Testament. In fact Jesus is not only the sacrificial lamb but also the victorious shepherd who seeks the lost lambs of the world.
We are so excited to share that our “Lambs of Faith” preschool has started a brand-new school year, and we are off to an exciting start. We continue to grow and this is an encouragement and a blessing as we bring the “Lamb of God” to the families of our community. A bit of a sad note is this will be the first time that I won’t have a child or grandchild at the preschool. They have all graduated from “Lambies” and are at the next level of education.
We want to give a special thank you to the Lambs of Faith Board and our Board of Education for all that they do to create wonderful times of fellowship and worship with the Lambs of Faith Families. This year, Rally Day is September 7, 2025. What a great time to celebrate Christian Education at Faith.
We also are deeply grateful to Lambs of Faith Board, Properties Board, and members who have volunteered to help open up the preschool this year. Your support and dedication truly mean so much to our LOF director, teachers, and staff. It reminds us that the preschool is a ministry and mission opportunity that belongs to God and to all of us here at Faith Lutheran Church. Together, we are building a place where children and families can grow, feel loved, and experience Jesus Christ’s presence in our community.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers for Lambs of Faith. The preschool staff and I are looking forward to an incredible year ahead.
Celebrating the Good Shepherd and the Lamb (s)!
