Bibles For The World Does More!
The ministries of Bibles For The World (BFTW) can be thought of as three pillars: God’s Word, God's Light and God's Love. Everything we do fits into one of these categories.
God's Word
For more than six decades, Bibles For The World has placed reaching people with God’s Word at the forefront of our ministry. In the past 15 years, BFTW has printed and distributed more than 8 million copies of God's Word to people in India, Burkina Faso, Malawi, South Sudan, Nepal, Thailand, Cuba, Haiti and more. BFTW focuses on efforts to make the most significant impact where God's Word is either very scarce or completely unavailable. This means partnering with other ministries whose evangelistic outreach, follow-up, and continuing discipleship are used, with the goal of fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
God's Light
In addition to reaching people with God's Word, BFTW spreads the light of education by operating 45 Christian schools in NE India, including Trinity College & Seminary. Building and training Christian leaders to impact their communities and nations for Christ is a powerful means of expanding the reach of the Gospel. With more than 10,000 students enrolled, BFTW is focused on creating future leaders for Christ.
God's Love
In addition to spreading God's Word and God's Light, BFTW demonstrates God's Love through compassionate care, disaster relief and church construction. This includes the work of Sielmat Christian Hospital which offers low-cost inpatient and outpatient care for many who could not otherwise afford treatment. It also includes mobile medical camps to rural communities where the need is very great.
