Rally Day, Sunday School, and Bible Study
Usually, we think of Springtime for renewal and new growth – but not this month! Fall brings the excitement of Rally Day – the BIG kick off to Lambs of Faith, Sunday School, and Adult Bible Studies.
The collaboration of many for Rally Day resulted in a festive atmosphere with top attendance, loads of fun, plates piled high with Bar-B-Q, and joyful sounds spilling out from the Fellowship Hall to the Pavilion and water slides.
Our Sunday School classes welcome several new teachers and students – and looking forward to our first Family Sunday School on November 17th!
The popularity of the Sunday Adult Bible Study of Acts has the group gathering in the Fellowship Hall – plenty of room for all to join! Another success, and already midway through Season Four, The Chosen Bible Study with the enhanced ‘movie’ screen brings Jesus and his disciples up close and personal. Plus, our weekly Adult Bible Studies continue to welcome the return of summer travelers while sharing in a deeper learning of Luke.
When Faith Lutheran talks about Bible Study, there are many rooms in our ‘house’ for you – if you haven’t stopped by before – we invite you to try us now. As we plant and water, we stay focused on the knowledge that “but only God, who makes things grow.” 1 Cor. 3:7.

Pastor Appreciation Gathering
Sunday, October 13, Fellowship Hall
Faith family will host an opportunity for us to express our appreciation to our Pastors. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall to give thanks for our three pastors.
God tells us in His Word, Jeremiah 3:15, “And I will give you shepherds after My own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
And again, in 1Thessalonians 5:12, “We ask you brothers (and sisters), to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the LORD.”
On Sunday, October 13, following the 11:00 AM worship service, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall. The Women of Faith will provide hot and cold appetizers, refreshments and cake. Also, you can express your personal appreciation to Pastors via mailed cards or letters.
God has blessed us with our Pastors, and we give Him thanks and praise for His care for us.
Come and join in!
Michael Schmidt, President Faith Lutheran Church
